Stay cool this summer with version 2 (V2) of our flagship cooling vest. It combines contact cooling and chilled air to provide the optimal level of comfort in hot environments. It is almost like a wearable air conditioner that only weighs about 5.5 pounds. We designed this to work hard and play hard, so whether you’re working outside in the summer or off roading in the desert, it’s ready for you.
This vest is constructed from the same military grade laminated Cordura as our prior generations. We wanted this vest to last through anything we throw at it and it has tackled everything from hard physical labor at our Texas ranch to long workouts in the scorching sun.
Version 2 saw improvements to the vents to change the airflow through the vest. This update allows for future planning as we work to develop a blower configuration so cold air can be blown through the vest and onto the user’s torso like a vented car set. We also improved how the straps attach to add even more strength for attachments and potential weighted inserts.
The double layer ice packs last longer than most other cooling vests on the market and they are easily swappable for extended use. The ice packs are flexible which allow for greater mobility in physically demanding applications. We also sought to minimize any material where it wasn’t absolutely needed so the vest is breathable, comfortable and provides optimal cooling. Cheaper vest on the market have large areas of fabric across the shoulders, chest and sides that actually kept heat and moisture in.
Integrated molle style cuts allow for the attachment of multiple items directly to the vest. We have mounted Action Cameras, Lights, Drink Holders, Speakers and laundry list of other items to suit our next adventure.
Multiple body types can be accommodated as we have designed the cooling vest to be adjustable. The shoulder straps can be adjusted about 3.5 inches, and the side straps have around 12 inches of adjustability.
The fan is still removeable and the fan location can be covered with the included Velcro panel. So if you are in a windy environment or don’t need the cooling – you can simply remove the fan and use it for contact cooling only.
Our flagships vests are proudly made in the USA. The fan is made in China and modified for use in the USA.
